우리나라 우리 나라 띄어쓰기 어느 것이 맞을까요?

 

띄어쓰기는 우리말 중에서 가장 어려운 부분입니다.

사실 저도 자주 헷갈려요.

 

우리말에는 한글 맞춤법 띄어쓰기 규정이라는 것이 분명히 존재합니다.

그런데 이 규칙이라는 것이 외우는 대로 머릿속에 그대로 남아 있느냐면 절대 아니죠.

외우는 순간 훨훨 날아가 버립니다.

의문이 생길 때는 국립국어원 홈페이지에 들어가 검색하면 됩니다.

그러나 띄어쓰기는 어렵기 때문에 조금 천천히 익히는 것을 권해 드려요.

이번 시간에는 하나만 익혀 보도록 하겠습니다.

바로 '우리'라는 단어입니다.

 

'우리나라', '우리말', '우리글' 이렇게 세 개의 단어는 붙여 씁니다.

그러나 '우리 집', '우리 엄마', '우리 남편', '우리 오빠', '우리 강아지', '우리 국가', '우리 언어'와 같은 단어는 띄어 씁니다.

 

왜냐고요?

그것은 '우리나라', '우리말', '우리글'은 하나의 단어이기 때문입니다.

'우리 집', '우리 엄마', '우리 남편', '우리 오빠' 등은 두 개의 단어이기 때문에 띄어 씁니다.

단어의 의미를 생각해 본다면 조금은 쉽겠죠?

 

띄어쓰기가 틀려도 의미가 통하지 않는 것은 아닙니다.

그러나 우리말, 우리글은 우리 국가의 것이기에 더 정확히 쓰면 좋지 않을까요?
